June 20, 2006 David Goldwyn spoke at briefing entitled "Reversing the
Resource Curse: The need for Transparency in the Oil, Gas and Mining

on Africa, Global Human Rights and International Operations on
“Nigeria’s Struggle with Corruption: The Success of Nigeria Extractive
Industries Transparency Initiative.”

International Strategies serves as the lead advisor to the Nigerian
Extractive Industry Transparency Initiative (NEITI) and the National
Stakeholders Working Group (NSWG) which released the results of three
historic audits of Nigeria's oil and gas sector.
